Ozone Media through its women channel, EVA help to monetise About.com’s India traffic

Ozone Media Solutions, a Bangalore-based ad network has launched a women channel, called Eva that aims to help brands in FMCG, Healthcare and Technology segments to reach out to Indian women online. Through its partner websites like IndusLadies.com, IndiaParenting.com, SanjeevKapoor.com and EvesIndia.com, the channel claims to reach about three million Indian women per month .
About.com, which is a part of The New York Times Company, has also signed an advertising deal with Ozone Media. Under the deal, Ozone Media’s Eva channel will exclusively sell ad space on About.com’s women-focused content pages accessed from India. According to About.com, its women channel generates millions of page views per month, and receives a significant traffic from India.
“About one-fourth of internet surfers comprise of urban women which makes a very influential and untouched segment for any marketer. With roughly 80 per cent of the buying decisions made by women, we hope that marketers can capitalize on the advantage of ‘Eva’ and maximize their reach to garner a high return on their online marketing spends,” Kiran Gopinath, founder and CEO, Ozone Media, has said.
Founded in 2006, Ozone Media claims to have good relationships with more than 1000 national and worldwide online publishers and over 200 brands including Dove, Lux, Vaseline, HSBC, ICICI, Yahoo, Dell, Cleartrip, In.com, Britannia, Huggies, Virgin Mobile, SimplyMarry.com, Yatra and Citibank and so on. In April 2008, Ozone Media received financial support from IDG Ventures .
